The mission of the Office of Federal Programs is to provide support to Rockwall ISD in improving academic success of all students, supplementing the professional growth of the staff, and conducting innovative parent education programs. The Every Student Succeeds Act (formerly No Child Left Behind Act) provides funding to help our students achieve maximum success by providing intervention and enrichment opportunities. 

The Office of Federal Programs primary responsibilities are to:

• Serve as liaison between Texas Education Agency and Rockwall ISD to ensure proper federal guidelines are followed.
• Assist the district and schools with implementing federal requirements.
• Monitor procedures utilized in conducting annual needs assessment, planing, implementing, and evaluating federal programs.
• Provide guidance in fiscal management.
