Designated school attendance zones enable the District to make the best use of faculty, staff, and facilities. Students attend their neighborhood elementary school and designated middle school.

Amanda Rochell Elementary School
Residents south of I-30, west of Hwy 205, and north of a line from FM 3097/ Buffalo Creek (the creek) /FM 1139 except Lake Rockwall Estates area.

Amy Parks – Heath Elementary School
Residents of Heath west of Buffalo Creek (the creek), south to FM 550, east along FM 550 and west of Hwy 205 to the district’s southern boundary. Residents of Heath whose streets intersect Smirl Drive north of Twin View Road and Wyndemere Boulevard. East of FM740 just south of Chris Cuny Parkway with the exception of those residents whose streets intersect S King Road (Adams Trail). North of Stevens Road to the district’s southern boundary.

Billie Stevenson Elementary School
Residents North of I-30, West to Ben Payne Rd, North to Hwy. 66 West to FM 3549 following imaginary line North and East to North Ben Payne ,South and East to District Boundary Line.

Celia Hays Elementary School
Residents east John King Blvd. to RISD's northern boundary, north of FM1141 and Cornelius Road, east to FM 3549, North and East following imaginary line to North Ben Payne and North and East to District boundary line.

Doris Cullins – Lake Pointe Elementary School
Residents west of Lake Ray Hubbard to the southern, western and northern district boundary lines. Most of these boundaries follow the Dallas and Collin County lines. Refer to district maps for exact boundaries.

Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary School
Residents south of I-30 (from the lake to Horizon Road & FM3097) to the Heath city limit; residents of Rockwall Lake Estates #2 (Country Home Estates) on the west side of Yvonne Street and streets west of Yvonne Street; residents south of a line formed by County Line Road and FM 1139; north of FM 550, east of Buffalo Creek, and west of Hwy 205.

Dorris A. Jones Elementary School
Residents south of I-30 and east of Hwy 205 including Meadowcreek Estates and Lofland Farms to Hwy 549; north of Hwy 276 to I-30 to the east boundary of Rochell Road; and residents in an area bounded by Hwy 205, FM 1139, the east side of Yvonne Street and Buffalo Creek (the creek).

Grace Hartman Elementary School
Residents north of Hwy 66 whose streets intersect with Lakeshore Drive northwest of Highview Lane, south of Squabble Creek, north of East Fork Drive (North Alamo Street), and west of Hwy 205.

Howard Dobbs Elementary School
Residents north of I-30 to Squabble Creek, east of SH 205 to the city limit line, east of FM 1141 to property south of Cornelius Road and east to Camp Creek, and south of SH 66 to Ben Payne; and south and east of railroad tracks to Brandy Creek.

Linda Lyon Elementary School
Residents of Heath whose streets intersect Smirl Drive north to include Twin View Road and Wyndemere Boulevard. West of FM 740 to include those residents whose streets intersect S King Road (Adams Trail). West to the Lake. South to the district’s southern boundary.

Lupe Garcia Elementary School
Residents in the area south of Highway 30, east of Rochell Road, north of State Highway 276 and west of the eastern District boundary line.

Nebbie Williams Elementary School
Residents north of Squabble Creek to district lines and west of Hwy 205 to lake.  

Ouida Springer Elementary School
Southeast of Hwy 205 south of Walnut Ridge, east to FM 549, south to FM 1139, southeast to FM 550, east to district boundary and south to county line, with the exception of Green Hollow Lane and the Sonoma Verde Subdivision.

Sharon Shannon Elementary School
Residents south of State Hwy 276, east of Hwy 549, south to FM1139 to FM550, including Green Hollow Lane, northeast of Frontier Trail and west of League Road including Via toscana Land and the Sonoma Verde Subdivision, and east to district boundary line.

Sherry and Paul Hamm Elementary
Residents east of Hwy 205/N. Goliad, to RISD’s northern boundary, west of N. John King Blvd, including the subdivisions of Stone Creek, Quail Run Valley and Caruth Lakes North (phase accessed from FM1141 and John King Blvd).

Virginia Reinhardt Elementary School
Residents north of I-30 including Lakeside Village to Hwy 66 and west of Hwy 205, and residents north of Hwy 66 to East Fork Drive (North Alamo Street), east of Lakeshore Drive, and west of Hwy 205.

Herman E. Utley Middle School
Residents north of I-30, east of Lake Ray Hubbard to Hwy 66 and then east of North Lakeshore Drive, south of East Fork Road and intersecting Hwy 205. Residents north of I-30, east of Hwy 205, south of Quail Run Valley Subdivision, then areas south of FM 1141 and Cornelius Road to the easternmost boundary of the district.

Residents south of I-30 and east of Horizon Road south to Ralph Hall Parkway. Residents east of and including Primrose to Hwy 205 and east of Hwy 205 including Meadowcreek Estates, Lofland Farms, Sterling Farms and Timbercreek Estates, north of Hwy 276 to Sunny Circle and east to Smith Acres and the easternmost boundary of the district. 

J. W. Williams Middle School
Residents west of Lake Ray Hubbard to the southern, western and northern district boundary lines. East of Lake Ray Hubbard at northern most boundary, south to Highway 66, west of North Lakeshore Drive, north to East Fork Road (formerly North Alamo), east to Hwy. 205, north to Memorial Drive and east to FM1141, including Phases 6, 7 and 8 of Caruth Lakes, to Cornelius Road and continuing eastward to Ben Payne Road and north on Ben Payne along eastern most boundary and north to northernmost boundary.

Maurine Cain Middle School
Areas south of I-30(from the lake to Horizon Road/FM3097), south of Ralph Hall Parkway, east to Primrose, south to Sids, east to Hwy. 205, south of Walnut Ridge, east to FM549, north to Hwy. 276 except Sterling Farms and Timbercreek, east to area east of Sunny Circle, north to easternmost boundary south of and including North Fork Road.
