    QUEUE WOODRUFF

    • Morning everyone. Counting today, 32 days of school left, for those of you counting. We are still having the same problem with doors being propped open to make easier access to the school. The problem with that is, if the doors are propped open, then anyone can come in which presents an issue of security for the students and staff.
    • It has also come to my attention there are people coming in during the weekend or when school is not in session, again, another security issue:
    • If anyone is found on campus and not participating in a school event or here for another approved reason, you will be charged with criminal trespass. There is no reason to be on campus without a legitimate reason and approval from the staff.
    • Stolen and lost valuables, I can’t make it any clearer than this: Use your locker, and make sure it is locked. If you have an item you don’t want anymore then leave it laying out. I’m sure there is someone out there who will be more than glad to remove it for you within a matter of minutes. If an item is stolen or lost, come see me and I will do what we can to recover it, just remember, the first question I am going to ask is, "Was the item locked in your locker?"
    • That is all I have, lock up your valuables and don’t prop the doors open, have a great week.

    Thank you Officer Woodruff.

    SRO INTRO

    Morning everyone

I am in need of some help on a couple of cases I’m currently working.

One of them is a harassment case that began in January. The suspect sends female students messages demanding inappropriate photos or he  will contact the police with the photos he  claims to have. This is very similar to a case still open from last year.

I’m reaching out to the students and faculty for information before I initiate a search on the user name and IP address. I am offering a crime stoppers reward for any information leading me to the suspect.

Oh, changing your user name, deleting your account, and attempting to change the IP address does not eliminate the information Instagram currently has on its servers so it would be better to come see me before we start digging using warrants and subpoenas.

I am also working a criminal mischief where a black Nissan Rogue was keyed on the right passenger door. This happened last friday in the student parking lot.  Again any info leading me to the person responsible will be eligible for crime stoppers money.

That’s all I have, remember, crime stoppers is completely confidential,

use the lockers to secure your stuff, be safe out there and have a great week.

    • This Friday will be the grand presentation of Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Tickets will be 5 dollars for students and 10 for adults, the show will begin at 7pm.

    WOODRUFF INTRO:

    Morning everyone

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

I want to talk about this Assassins game the seniors and juniors are playing. Previous years I have gotten phone calls regarding the actions of some of the players hiding behind cars or other things at their targets homes and / or work.

This has made some parents uncomfortable because they probably do not know the person lurking around in their yard, and will most likely call 911.

If you are participating in this game, please use common sense, don’t be hiding around homes and cars, and abide by the rules of this game. I am telling you all this because we don’t want anyone hurt during this game.

Kyle drive, the street next to Kyle field and the multipurpose building has a speed limit of 20 mph. It is not a school zone with active hours, it is 20 mph 24 hours a day due to the frequent foot traffic going back and forth across the street.

Also, remember if there is a sign posted regarding parking, you need to recognize that. Our traffic and patrol division has been told to patrol this street often during the day. Please abide by the signs.

I’m almost done…promise. You guys have done great in securing your valuables, the reported loss or theft have reduced significantly since this time last year. Keep locking your valuables, or have them on you at all times.

Students, you are not authorized in the department work rooms unless you're being escorted by a teacher or staff.

As always, be safe, wear your seatbelt and have a great week.

    • And today in the studio we have the man who is all about safety, Officer Woodruff.

    Morning everyone:

You guys have been great bringing toys in for the Helping Hands toy drive, come by my office to see how this year’s toy  drive is doing.

We have today, Tuesday and Wednesday morning to collect last minute toys as the crime stoppers board and other students will be loading the toys on a truck and delivering them at the school’s admin building. So, keep the momentum going and keep bring in those new unwrapped toys.

I can sign volunteer hours forms for those who can help load the toys on the truck Wednesday morning, with the number of toys we’ll have to move, we can use all the help we can get.

I want to talk about social networking bullying and threats. Now, I don’t want to be gender specific….girls, but the posts going around this school and RHHS is just unnecessary and very childish.

If you are having an issue with someone else just ignore them, don’t post invitations to a fight or post inappropriate content about a person. This is the age where you are supposed to be displaying maturity and responsibility, not junior high behavior just because it make you feel better.

Remember, regardless of the app you use has every post sent and received on their server, so just because you delete it does not mean isn’t not available.

Again, thank you all for the toys, and as always, slowdown in the parking lots, wear your seat belt and a great week.
