  • 8th Grade Boys Soccer Team Wins District!

    Last night the 8th grade boys soccer team accomplished something that no other middle school soccer team can even surpass. After last night’s amazing come-from-behind 2-1 win over Royse City, these boys not only are the back-to-back district champions but, more importantly, they’ve completed their middle school soccer career having never lost nor tied a single game.

  • UMS PALS Donate Duffel Bags

    The Utley Middle School PALS bought, decorated duffle bags, and filled them with stuffed animals, blankets, coloring books, crayons, and toiletries to donate to local foster care agencies. Many foster children arrive at a foster care agency without any personal belongings and if they do have something, they often only have a trash bag or a plastic sack with a few articles of clothing inside.

  • UMS Students Win All Region Choir

    On Saturday, April 7, three Utley students auditioned with hundreds of other students and were selected to be members of the Region 25 All-Region choir.

  • Board Approves 2018-2019 District Calendar

    The Board of Trustees approved the 2018-2019 school calendar at their monthly meeting on January 16. The Board and administration appreciate the input received from staff, parents and community members to develop the calendar.

  • Rockwall ISD and Campuses Achieve Highest Accountability Rating
    Rockwall Independent School District and all 19 of its campuses have achieved the state’s highest rating for academic achievement. The district and all campuses were officially rated “Met Standard” according to the Texas Education Agency.

    “I am so proud of the excellence that has been achieved by our students and teachers. It takes everyone in our organization from bus driver to campus leadership to central office, in partnership with parents, to achieve such high student performance. It is that spirit of partnership in educating all children that makes Rockwall ISD an exceptional school district,” said Superintendent Dr. John “JJ” Villarreal.
