October 23th through October 27th is Red Ribbon Week at Stevenson. Red Ribbon Week emphasizes the importance of living a drug-free life! In an effort to encourage the students to remain drug-free, we are asking for your help to promote our week-long event. Below is a list of daily activities in which each student will be able to participate. Participation is encouraged but optional.
Monday, October 23th—“Wear Red Day!” Please allow your child to wear as much red as he/she possibly can!
Tuesday, October 24th--”My Future is Bright—No Drugs in Sight!” Please have your child dress in fluorescent/bright colored clothing.
Wednesday, October 25th--”Your choices are the key to your dreams!” Please encourage your child to wear appropriate pajamas to school!
Thursday, October 26th--”Don’t get mixed up with drugs!” Students may participate by wearing mixed matched clothing. Remember to send appropriate shoes for PE!
Friday, October 27th—“From head to toe, I’m drug free!” Students may wear crazy hair and socks!
We hope that the week is enjoyable for your child and reinforces the danger of drugs. If you have any questions regarding the week's activities, please feel free to contact me.
