I am a first year teacher for resource math, grades 4th-6th. My previous experience has been substitute teaching and working as a paraprofessional for the ACE special education classroom. I value both my students and their parents, and I strive to form and maintain relationships that foster student growth academically, socially, and emotionally. What do I love most about teaching math? It is seeing students learn how to solve problems. It's an important skill to have and will continue to be something that follows them throughout their lives. 

Outside of school, I am a proud wife and mother of two amazing kiddos. My daughter, Gracie, enjoys being a cheerleader, and my son, Josiah, is beginning his first year in his middle school band. I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce in 2018 with a BAAS in Organizational Leadership. I then began my journey with Texas Teachers of Tomorrow to obtain my teaching certificate. I've always known that teaching was my calling; it's just taken some time to answer that calling. I am pleased to say that Rockwall ISD has been my happy place for the past 2 years, and I look forward to many more years ahead.
